Councilmember Tretheway invites you to a meeting for Natomas residents on the City of Sacramento Budget at the Westlake Clubhouse on Wednesday, April 8 from 5:30 - 8:30. Read flyer for more details.
Keep aware of crime in Westlake and Natomas, including reports from Police Captain Hahn.
The North Natomas Resource Center is now open!
The North Natomas Resource Center is located at 2701 Del Paso Rd Suite 140 ( in the Safeway shopping center at Del Paso Rd and East Commerce). It is designed to improve access to City Services by providing information on City resources and departments right in your neighborhood. Community volunteers will be staffing the center, so the schedule of hours of operation will depend on volunteer availability.
The City is currently working on establishing the scheduling system, so more info on open hours will be available soon. Sacramento Police Department officers will be using the resource center for report writing in between shifts, to host community safety trainings, etc. Representatives from Neighborhood Services (Brit Irby), Code Enforcement, and the Office of Youth Development will have regular office hours. Crime Prevention Officer Kurt McCray will also hold regular office hours at he center. Residents can stop by to speak with one of these City representatives, receive general info on City services, receive assistance with filling out online forms (such as online police or code enforcement forms) or to pick up department brochures/materials and find out about upcoming events.
The success of the resource center relies heavily on volunteers. Another orientation has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 14th from 6:00-7:30 PM. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact British (Brit) Irby, Neighborhood Resource Coordinator, District 1, 921 10th Street, 5th Floor, Sacramento 95814. Office number (916) 808-6526, Cell number (916) 715-2795, e-mail address: birby@cityofsacramento.org
